February 4-14 Experience Guatemala up close and personal!

This trip will start in Antigua, the UNESCO Heritage City that was once the capital of Central America. Then we will head to the town of Santiago Atitlan on beautiful Lake Atitlan. We will visit our scholarship students and their families. We will also visit artisans and the local markets. There will be optional activities: bird watching, visiting a local hospital, visiting an innovative grade school, visiting a project working with Maya elders in need, and a cultural tour. we will explore the famous market in Chichicastenago, the weaving village of San Juan de Laguana and stay in Panajachel.. This is an opportunity to see all of F2F’s work in Guatemala. It is a cultural, educational and textile tour. This small group trip will be tailored to individual interests. Limited to 12 people.
