Skarleth
In 2004, four-year-old Skarleth, from the village of Santiago Atitlan in Guatemala, dreamed of going to school. Not only did she go to school, she graduated high school and after sixth year of college studying medicine she has graduated as a medical doctor. Farmer to Farmer supported her during medical school with $500 a month until she graduated in 2025. She is currently working in her community at the Hospitalito and out in the villages gaining experience before her residency begins.
Skarleth is grateful to Farmer to Farmer for all the help we have given her through the years, and we couldn’t be prouder of her hard work and persistence.
